For my birthday this year, I wanted to get together with some friends, make some amazing music, and share it with the world. As fate would have it, the death of my laptop forced me to create all of this in 2 days. Working on this project non-stop in order to finish on birthday present was well worth the result!

I approached this EP as an experiment that drew from artists like Karriem Riggins, Robert Glasper and Vulfpeck; artists that embrace organic improvisation. Most of the songs were written and arranged in the process of tracking. I then produced the album as a series of glimpses: fragments of songs fused together to better tell the stories ensconced within.
