Some Dark, Beautiful Morning is the title track off my EP, was the result of a collaboration with the album’s producer. This was the first time I experimented with overdubbing dozens of cellos, let alone worked with a completely synthetic rhythm section. The title referrs to the experience of staying up all night, then watching the rising sun as you end the day.
